Introduction
Moiraine Damodred is a central character in Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series. She is introduced in the first book, The Eye of the World, as a member of the Accepted – women who have been chosen to train as Aes Sedai, the magical women who can wield the One Power. She is eventually revealed to be a member of the powerful Blue Ajah.
Moiraine is plucky and resourceful, always managing to get herself out of difficult situations. However, her time comes to an end in the eleventh book, The Gathering Storm. After defeating the Dark One in a final battle, Moiraine dies peacefully in Rand al’Thor’s arms.

Moiraine is an Aes Sedai, a member of the American branch of the Age of Legends organization known as the Green Ajah. She is also part of the Black Ajah, though she does not know it herself. Moiraine is 5’4″ tall, has striking blue eyes, and long bright red hair which she often keeps in a braid. Her Warder is Lan Mandragoran, and her personal servant is Verin Mathwin.

Moiraine Damodred is a central character in Robert Jordan’s “Wheel of Time” series. She is a member of the Aes Sedai, an all-female organization of magic users, and is sent to find the Dragon Reborn, a man who will save or destroy the world. Moiraine dies in the third book of the series, “The Dragon Reborn.”
The Shadow Rising
Moiraine Damodred is a central character in Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series. She is an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah, as well as the First Deposer of the Sudan and a member of the Black Ajah, though she is unaware of the latter. Moiraine serves as Lady Adviser to Rand al’Thor, the Dragon Reborn, during the first three books in the series. Her pupils include Lan Mandragoran, Nynaeve al’Meara and Egwene al’Vere.
In The Shadow Rising, Book Four of The Wheel of Time, Moiraine dies while battling Shai’tan at Shadar Logoth.

Moiraine Damodred is a central character in Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time fantasy series. A member of the powerful Damodred family and the sister of future Panarch Cadsuane Melaidhrin, Moiraine is introduced in The Eye of the World (1990) as a mysterious Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah who arrives in the Two Rivers just before its residents are attacked by Trollocs. Along with her Warder Lan Mandragoran, Moiraine helps protect the Dragon Reborn Rand al’Thor and his friends from the Dark One’s forces as they journey across Westeros to Eianrod, site of ancient ruins known as “the Breaking of the World”. In Lord of Chaos (1994), Moiraine dies during an unsuccessful attempt to stop a rogue Asha’man from destroying Eianrod.

A Crown of Swords is the seventh book of Robert Jordan’s epic fantasy series The Wheel of Time. Published by Tor Books and released on May 19, 1996, it consists of a prologue and 52 chapters.
Upon its release, A Crown of Swords reached No. 2 on The New York Times Best Seller list. It has been reprinted ten times, most recently in March 2015.
